PHC Respiratory Clinic: Responding to COVID 19

In  March, PHC staff sprang into action to respond to COVID-19 and create the PHC Respiratory clinic located to the south of the Bery Engebretsen Clinic. Since, July 1, the  PHC Drive Through Respiratory Clinic has experienced record demand and seen more than 1,014 patients.

“Our team has gone above and beyond to be flexible and adaptable to meeting the needs of our community in the face of the pandemic,” said Erica Carrick, Executive Director of Operations and Integration. “We have seen record numbers at the clinic and we are utilizing our registered nurses to help us to adapt to the demand from the community.”

Accessing the Respiratory Clinic

Patients experiencing fever, cough and shortness of breath are directed to visit the Respiratory Clinic instead of their normal PHC clinic. Upon arrival, patients remain in their car and wait to be examined by a nurse or physician.

If you meet the requirements for a COVID-19 test, we do have the ability to test you, but a COVID-19 test is not guaranteed.

The Respiratory Clinic is located just south of the Bery Engebretsen Clinic
