We are seeking a Chief Medical Officer to join our team. Are you an experienced and visionary medical professional looking to make a difference in your community? If so, we would like to hear from you!
As the Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the clinical operations of our health centers, as well as providing direct care to our patients. You will lead our healthcare team, including behavioral health and pharmacy, to provide medical oversight, develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local healthcare providers and community partners. You will provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff as well as collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and access to care. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have the following:
- a medical degree from an accredited institution
- active license to practice medicine in Iowa
- board certification in a relevant specialty
Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting, strong clinical knowledge and expertise, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Above all, you must be committed to serving the underserved and vulnerable populations in our community.
