About National Health Center Week

Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) sponsors National Health Center Week (NHCW) to celebrate and raise awareness about America’s 1,400 Community Health Centers (CHCs). These centers provide quality healthcare services to more than 31.5 million patients across nearly 15,000 communities annually.

This Year’s Theme: Powering Communities Through Caring Connections

Community Health Centers are vital in offering strength, service, and care. They support and love in times of pain and loss, and they offer hope and vision in times of triumph. This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of connecting communities with health centers and elected officials. It’s a time to celebrate our community’s uniqueness and recognize those dedicated to building lasting partnerships.

Why Attend?

  • Support Your Community: Show your appreciation for the healthcare workers, board members, and supporters who make a difference.
  • Get Informed: Learn more about the essential services provided by your local health center.
  • Connect: Meet other community members and local officials dedicated to empowering and caring for our community.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and highlight the importance of Community Health Centers in our lives. See you there!
