What to Expect at a Residency Clinic
Who will I see for my visit?
You’ll be seen by a Family Medicine resident physician (MD/DO) who is supervised by an attending, board-certified physician. Your care plan is reviewed and guided by faculty.
Is the visit different from a regular clinic?
Care quality is the same. At times, visits can be slightly longer because teaching occurs during care—many patients appreciate the thorough approach.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. Medicaid is accepted, along with Medicare and most private insurance. A sliding fee scale is available for patients without coverage.
