How MAT Works at PHC

  3. Medication + counseling — start or continue medication alongside counseling and support.
  4. Follow-ups — regular visits, refills, and adjustments as you progress.

  • No insurance? Sliding fee discounts based on income and family size.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Yes. We accept Iowa Medicaid. Sliding fee discounts are available for patients without insurance.

How quickly can I start?

We’ll schedule an intake as soon as possible. Start times vary by clinic and clinical needs; call to begin.

Do I have to attend counseling?

Counseling and recovery support are part of MAT at PHC. Your plan is tailored to your needs and goals.

Do you offer methadone?

PHC prescribes buprenorphine/naloxone or naltrexone as appropriate. We can coordinate referrals to community opioid treatment programs for methadone.
