What to Expect

  1. Schedule your first visit — pregnancy confirmation or well-woman exam.
  2. Build your care plan — with a midwife; OB-GYN consults as needed.
  3. Ongoing prenatal or routine visits — labs, education, and support.
  4. Postpartum follow-up — recovery, lactation support, and next steps.

  • Medicaid accepted: We accept Iowa Medicaid for women’s health and prenatal care.
  • No insurance? Sliding fee discounts based on income and family size.
  • Clear estimates: We’ll review costs before your visit.
  • Interpreter services available at no cost to patients.

Family planning support (Title X)

Some family planning services are supported through a federal program called Title X.
This program helps make care more accessible and confidential.

Do you accept Medicaid for prenatal and women’s health?

Yes. We accept Iowa Medicaid. If you have questions about your plan, call the clinic you plan to visit.

Do I see a midwife, an OB-GYN, or both?

Many patients receive midwife-led care with collaboration from OB-GYNs as needed. We’ll help you choose the right fit.

Where will I deliver?

We provide prenatal and postpartum care and coordinate your delivery with our hospital partners. Ask when you schedule for details.

Can I get routine women’s health care if I’m not pregnant?

Yes. We provide annual exams, Pap tests, contraception, STI testing/treatment, and more.
